HAIRCUTTING ONLINE /  {5HRS}

Georgia Law requires salon professionals whose licenses expire on August 31, 2011 or March 31, 2012 to complete 5 hours of continuing education prior to license renewal, which can be completed through correspondence.

ALL LICENSEES ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THE 3 HOUR DTAE HEALTH AND SAFETY CLASS IN ADDITION TO TWO (2) HOURS OF ANY OTHER CE CLASS    

  Lesson Objective

 ·       The learner will become knowledgeable of the Required 3 hrs. DTAE Health and Safety and the basic principle of Hair cutting.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable of areas of the head.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable of lines and angles

The learner will be able to identify elevations

·        The learner will be able to identify the different face shapes

·        The learner will become knowledgeable on hair analysis.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable on cutting shears etc.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable on the way to hold all cutting tools.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable on their posture and body position one should have when doing a hair cut.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable of the different types of hair cuts.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable in hair cutting tips.
