Nail Structure and Growth {2HRS} Georgia Law requires salon professionals whose licenses expire on August 31, 2011 or March 31, 2012 to complete 5 hours of continuing education prior to license renewal, which can be compeleted through correspondence. ALL LICENSEES ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THE 3 HOUR DTAE HEALTH AND SAFETY CLASS IN ADDITION TO TWO (2) HOURS OF ANY OTHER CE CLASS This class is for Cosmetologist and Manicurist SYLLABUS - The learner will become knowledgeable on the nail anatomy

- The learner will become knowledgeable of different types of nail disorders
- The learner will become knowledgeable of the different types of nail diseases
- The learner will become knowledgeable of the different equipment used in manicuring
- The learner will become knowledgeable of the different types of implements used when doing a manicure
