      Lesson Objective

 ·        The learner will become knowledgeable of the basic principle of Hair cutting

·        The learner will become knowledgeable of areas of the head.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable of lines and angles

The learner will be able to identify elevations

·        The learner will be able to identify the different face shapes

·        The learner will become knowledgeable on hair analysis.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable on cutting shears etc.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable on the way to hold all cutting tools.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable on their posture and body position one should have when doing a hair cut.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable of the different types of hair cuts.

·        The learner will become knowledgeable in hair cutting tips.

This class is for all COSMETOLOGIST AND TEACHERS.

 

Before you proceed, please carefully read the information below.
 


  • This is a timed Internet course which will require a total of 4 hours to complete, but you do not need to complete all 4 hours at one time. You will have the option to stop at any time during the course, and resume at a later time or day.
     
  • Each page is timed.  The State of North Carolina requires that we time each page. Once the the timer counts down to zero,  you may proceed to the next page of the text by clicking on the finish button. Keep in mind that you may take as many breaks as you wish. You can return to the reading assignments as many times as you wish. 
  • You must complete your hours before your license renewal, so you may have a much shorter amount of time to complete this course than we allow.
     
  • This is a State-Board approved course. We guarantee that once you complete this course, you will receive a Certificate of Participation and we turn all of your completed continuing education credit hrs. to the North Carolina state Board Of Cosmetology.

    • NOTE: Once you have completed this reading assignment and test within allotted time you can print your  CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION  .  If you do not complete the reading assignment and test within allotted time you will forfeit your payment and will not receive credit for this class.  You will have to reregister and pay for this class.
